TEN21 is a new collaboration platform for speeding up the energy transition to a sustainable society.
NODA is part of the new TEN21 collaborative platform. This platform is called Thermal Energy Systems for 21˚C of indoor comfort (TEN21) and the goal is to help cities, regions and companies to understand where to start, what to do and how to do it.
Targeted actors are such that already have district heating or are considering to invest in such. In the light of high public debt levels it is necessary (to meet the investment volumes needed for energy transition) to also raise funds on financial markets. TEN21 therefore, against the background of the EU Action Plan on Financing Sustainable Growth, the EU Green Deal, Fitfor55 and NextGeneration EU, aims at providing investment opportunities for institutional investors that comply with the EU Taxonomy.
The Collaboration has been founded by The Swedish Environmental Research Institute (IVL) and UK company, Resourceful Futures. Other partners include Italian Institute, EURAC, innovation companies EML, Noda, DEVCCO and further academic partners with sustainable finance-expertise.
